Treat Twitter Like Your Soul Mate Not Your Bit On The Side!

Just the other week, I noticed that whilst doing a little research, many big companies and big names were not using Twitter to it’s full potential.
The profiles are there and they have a following, but nothing seems to be happening. When you look a little deeper it is clear to see why.
No effort seems to be going into the account. No effort = no results.
Speaking as one who finds Twitter one of the most rewarding social media platform out there, I found this rather surprising to see.
Many people say they simply ‘don’t get it’ or they feel they just need to have that ‘profile’ to have a presence.
Hands up if this is you:-
You have a Twitter profile but don’t really do much with it.
You have thousands of followers but get no engagement on your posts.
You throw together posts and just get them out there.
You simply share your Facebook posts direct to Twitter!
Nobody notices you are there.
You have great content but it’s falling on deaf ears.
You never engage with anybody else.
You sell sell sell…. after all that is what Twitter is for isn’t it??
I don’t care about anybody else!
What is the point?
I am only on Twitter because I feel I should be!
…… and the list goes on and on.
When in reality you are missing the whole point of what you can gain throughout the process.
